Earlier this year I saw Rocky the Robot Truck in a video
from the big Toy Fair. I thought this one was pretty neat. Like many of
you (guys), I had some Transformers when I was a kid. They were pretty
neat, but Rocky brings that level of "coolness" to a little younger age
group.
He doesn't actually change into anything like Transformers do. But,
he's an interactive talking truck. He can lift, dump, drive, and talk.
He even stands up and dances! He knows 100+ jokes and phrases, honks,
and makes engine sounds. He can even snore when he drifts off into
sleep mode. You wake him up by pulling or pushing him, or by putting
something in his bed.
I think Rocky
the Robot Truck is going to be pretty popular
this year. So, if you want one for the kid in your life, I recommend
that you GET
ONE NOW. Popular toys like this can sell out at Christmas.
Best to avoid disappointment.

designed for children ages three and older. Talking, driving, lifting,

Load 'Em Up and Move 'Em Out
Built with strong, durable plastic, Rocky is ready to handle heavy
loads. Your child can manually tilt his dump bed to unload it -- or
make some noise and he'll do it for you. And when you push Rocky
forward or pull him backward on all six wheels, his blue headlights are
activated and he'll make some noise of his own, with engine sounds and
honking.
The smokestack on the front of the truck is the primary way
to control this robot truck. Tilting the lever back gets Rocky to stand
on his back four wheels. The truck is automatically set in dump mode,
but pressing the red button on top of the smokestack several times will
switch it to dancing mode, where he'll shake his upper truck body to
music. Pushing the lever forward returns Rocky to a normal truck
position.
The red button also cues Rocky to say one of his many phrases
or jokes, and also wakes him up if he's taking a nap. If you don't play
with Rocky for a while, he will go into sleep mode -- a may even snore.
Kids get Rocky's attention by placing objects in his dump bed, or by
pushing or pulling him.
Make Some Noise!
Rocky is very responsive, interactive, and engaging -- often prompting
kids to make noise so he can show off his dancing and dumping skills.
Because you can play with him manually or with his help, Rocky makes
playtime easy and simple. However, with only one button for a couple of
operations, Rocky's automatic modes may take some getting used to for
younger children. They may have a difficult time getting directly past
the robot's talking to get to the dancing mode.
Rocky The Robot Truck comes with four "C" batteries.
What's in the Box

Engaging

My 5 year old loves this!

My son got this truck for his 5th birthday. So far, it seems to be durable. It does everything it's supposed to do (as seen on TV...). It has a ton of phrases and voice interaction- "Make a sound if you want me to dance". The price seems to be worth it. I would definitely recommend this truck to anyone looking for a fun toy for a boy (or girl)!
Great fun!

I got this toy for my 5 year old but my 3 year old and 10 year old love it. It does a ton of different stuff, looks cool, and even though my boys have been given it a go - it has held up great. Seriously, a great gift or something for the kids. You won't be disappointed.
My 3-year old LOVES this truck!

This is such a neat toy! It does everything you see in the commercial and has held up very well to some rough play. It dances, moves around and talks, and my 3-year old thinks it's the coolest truck in the world. His favorite part is when the truck stands up on its hind wheels and dances. It is a little more pricey here on this site (more reasonable locally) but seeing the joy in my son's face as he explores this robot truck has made it all worthwhile. Highly recommended!

Bought this for my 5 year old nephew for Christmas and I think he is going to love it. I played with it and ROCKY is so cool and talks very clear. Just ordered it yesterday and recieved it today; so don't know how durable it will be but it seems to be very well made. Don't believe I will regret getting this one, such a fun toy.
